Santa Cruz Sculpture Garden

This garden showcases personal pieces of sculptor Jacques Schnier.  The bronze bas-relief was carefully mounted into a plaster wall, correctly detailed with copper flashing to mitigate galvanic action. A cantilevered bench allows a perch next to the custom copper fountain.

The yard is very small, only 14 feet in depth, yet allows the owner to conduct yoga sessions. The fence was constructed with engineering fabric behind the horizontal slats to afford the most privacy. The deck boards change direction to help break down the scale and bring texture to different areas of the yard.
